H-Weighted Noise Level

Strutt|Criteria|Ratings|Sound Level|dB(H) inserts the H-weighted broadband noise level calculated from the active row of the worksheet into Column F of the active row.

The A-weighting, especially at high frequencies, does not follow human auditory sensitivity. The H-weighted noise level is a sound pressure level weighting for humans which results in a true comparison of the sound signal weighted according to the hearing capabilites of man.

The rating on a 1-octave sheet is based on a consolidated third octave spectrum.
