Industrial Site Excess Attenuation    1/1

Strutt|Environmental Noise|Industrial Site Excess Attenuation inserts attenuation (dB) into the active row of the worksheet.

Industrial site attenuation refers to attenuation that can occur due to scattering from installations (and other objects), unless accounted for by screening ot the sound source radiation specification. An estimate of the attenuation is calculated using the following attenuation coefficients multiplied by the distance, up to a maximum attenuation in any octave band of 10 dB:

Frequency, Hz 63 125 250 500 1 kHz 2 kHz 4 kHz 8 kHz
Asite dB/m 0 0.015 0.025 0.025 0.02 0.02 0.015 0.015
