Criteria Comparison    1/1, 1/3

Strutt|Criteria|Design Criteria|Criteria Comparison prompts the user to enter a row of calculated levels, a row of criteria/threshold values, and performs a comparison between the two rows and inserts the difference in the the active row of the worksheet. The user may also insert a constant which is used to adjust the row of criteria values e.g. to allow comparison of a predicted noise level and a criterion defined in terms of a measured background noise level (e.g. a criterion of BG+5 dB).

Strutt implements the comparison (`Delta_L`)as:

`Delta_L = L_1 - (L_2 + C)`

where,
`L_1` is the calculated sound level
`L_2` is the criterion/threshold level
`C` is the adjustment to the criterion/threshold level

Any exceedance of the criteria row (i.e. where the value(s) of the row calculated levels are numerically higher than the value(s) of the row of criteria/threshold values) is formatted to display in red text.
